The path of opening up intuitive gifts is also one of progressive initiation into the awareness of our higher and more subtle bodies, right through to the celestial.

The Inner Life and the outer life

There are two rhythms in life which we experience, the outer life and the Inner Life. These can also be termed the life of sensation and the life of peace.

The outer life is based upon sensation, disturbance and movement and gives rise to experiences which captivate our attention and focus. We become absorbed in the outer life which is experienced by the “ego self“ and we lose touch with the Inner Life where peace is found.

Those continually seeking to experience life as a sensation want more of that experience. When the “ego self” born of the outer life, becomes dependent upon movement and sensation the inner life, experienced by the Real Self as peace, is lost.

Absorption in the outer life robs us of the peace which is our Divine right. The one who lives absorbed in the outer life, with only intellectual and worldly wisdom remains captivated by the outer world and longs for peace.

A life lived in continual movement and activity is a life lived only on the surface. And a life lived on the surface is a life lived in fear as nothing on the surface lasts. It is all transitory!

It is not the excited, motivated or energetic one who conquers in this continual battle of life. It is the peaceful one who tolerates all, forgives all and understands that a life lived on the surface is a life without depth, a life without trust and a life lived in fear.

The natural rhythm of the Soul is peace. This peace can be experienced deep within the Self. This is the Inner Life. Peace is experienced independently within the Self and is not dependent upon the outer life. This peace is constant and unchanging. It is with us when we come into this world of outer manifestation and it will be with us when we leave our outer world of disturbance.

Peace is experienced by the Real Self in the Inner Life. It is the peaceful one who uncovers the wisdom of the Soul. The peaceful one observes keenly, contemplates and assimilates knowledge and experience until wisdom is earned. Wisdom is found in the peaceful, for peace is the sign of wisdom.
All Spiritual progress in life is dependent upon peace!
