Therefore, according to Pascal's definition, religion was a game of infinite excitement and one worth playing, because multiplying an infinite prize by a finite probability results in infinity!

A little light heartedness!
Blaise Pascal, the french philosopher/mathematician/scientist, argued that the possible prize of eternal happiness has an infinite value and that the probability of entering heaven by leading a virtuous life, no matter how small, is certainly finite.
Therefore, according to Pascal's definition, religion was a game of infinite excitement and one worth playing, because multiplying an infinite prize by a finite probability results in infinity!

Spirituality - the expansion of consciousness
We are that of which we are aware or conscious of.
A normal healthly person is conscious of their physical body as well as the physical locality in which they live.
This we experience through the five physical senses, namely sight, sound, taste, smell and touch.
At a different level to our physical awareness, we are also aware or conscious of that part of our being which is not physical.
Our mental activities - or our thoughts. Included in this awareness are our emotions, namely joy and love, our anxieties as well as all our negative emotions.
At a higher level still and as we progress in our Spirituality we become aware or conscious of our connection to something greater than ourselves.
Spirituality is not dependant upon how religious we are or which path we follow, it is dependant upon consciousness. The wider our conscious awareness expands, the greater is our vision!
And, only when our consciousness expands to the point where it includes an awareness of the entire Universe do we reach Spiritual enlightenment or cosmic consciousness as it is sometimes called!

The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam
Quatrain XXXII
There was a Veil past which I could not see:
Some little Talk awhile of ME and THEE
There seem'd- and then no more of THEE and ME.
Spiritual interpretation - Paramahansa Yogananda
I stood at the door of Infinity
unable to find the key to its mysteries.
My soul, (me) reaching even this high state of attainment
could not penetrate the veil of the inner light,
beyond which lay the holy of holies,
the abode of the Unmanifested Beloved -
the Absolute. Spirit (Thee).
(At this point known only
to the seeker intuitively).
There was a conscious intuitional exchange
between soul (me) and Spirit (Thee).
In the progressive states of Spiritual awakening,
the first experience is superconsciousness,
the realization of the self as soul, individualized Spirit.
In deeper ecstasy, the consciousness enters
Universal consciousness, oneness with the
consciousness of God that is manifested in all creation.
Returning to everyday existence in the physical world
however, this state of union is difficult to maintian
and is sought through the practice of meditation.

The Superconscious Mind

Superconscious awareness constitutes a new state of existence. This shift in awareness begins with a single individual experiencing a singular focal point. Ultimately the transformation is cosmic, not just or merely for the benefit of the individual. It is the collective goal of All That Is. The Divinization of matter.
It almost always takes an exceptional experience to bring about a glimpse into the Superconscious realm. This may take the form of a tragic loss, a physical illness, accident or near death experience. On occasion it happens spontaneously. At some point during the experience the mind slips through a portal into the Superconscious realm leaving you with the impression that there is more to life than you originally thought. Once you have had a glimpse of this Superconscious realm you begin to yearn for answers of a different kind. There is a Spiritual hunger now that was not present before. This hunger drives you and seems never to be satisfied.
After years of existing subconsciously you are now aware of another reality - which even a tiny glimpse of is enough to bring about a "knowing" not a belief. This "knowing" is difficult to put into words, almost impossible to describe accurately and meaningless to the uninitiated.

Energy follows intent . . .
The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination . . . . . Albert Einstein
Energy follows intent.
Energy arranges matter.
It follows then that when we focus our intent (mental energy) and use our imagination, we have the ability to create as well as arrange matter.
Einstein formulated his famous equation - E = Mc2 - which indicates that matter (M) is but an expression of energy (E).

The surrendering of ego . . . . .

When operating from the perspective of ego we lose sight of the perspective of Spirit. This changes how we experience the world on every level. The ego sees the world through the physical eyes and the perspective of seeing or sensing with the heart is lost.
The purpose of Spiritual practice is to realize that ego is what keeps us from experiencing Spirit. Spirit is that aspect of the Self we encounter when fear is conquered. This requires a surrendering, complete trust and absolute faith.
The ego is afraid of Spirit. Once the ego surrenders, power is shared, all control is lost and this is frightening to the ego.

The formation of the universe . . . .

The ultimate insight of quantum physics is that ALL diversity of Nature emerges from one unified field.
Solid objects are simply stable light waves - they are energy molecules vibrating so slowly that they have become solid. Think of a stationary propeller - you can see it, but when it spins at high speed it becomes invisible.
There are only so many building blocks in nature and they constitute everything we see as well as everything we cannot see.
Essentially, the same building blocks are used to create a human form as those used to create a rock or a flower. The only difference being the way the molecules hang together and the speed at which their energy molecules vibrate.
Christians call this unified field God, Hindus call it Brahma. The religious belief of Hindu's hold in reverence each of the manifestations from this unified field. According to Hindu philosophy everything is sacred! Vishnu, the protector, Brahma the creator, and Shiva the destroyer, are three Gods revered as the SUPREME TRINITY by Hindus. Christians believe in a HOLY TRINITY, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
According to Ayurvedic philosophy, which comes from the Vedic Rishis who were spiritually enlightened beings existing more than five thousand years ago, man is a microcosm, a universe within himself. This supports the holographic principal. The Rishis perceived that in the beginning the world existed in an unmanifested state of consciousness, the unified field, otherwise known as God or Brahma.
From this state of unified consciousness, the subtle vibrations of the cosmic soundless "Aum" manifested. This is what our modern day scientists refer to as the reverberation still audible from the "Big Bang". Some followers of the Hindu religion believe that amen from the Christian religion shares roots with the Sanskrit word, aum.
From this vibration of AUM there first appeared the ETHER element. This ether element began to vibrate, to move. Its subtle movements created the AIR element, which is ether in action. John 1:1 Christian Bible - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Similarities can be found between "the word or the sound of God" and the sound Aum which was the movement or vibration from which the material universe manifested from the one unified field according to Ayurvedic philosophy?
The movement of ETHER produced friction and through that friction heat was generated. Particles of heat energy combined to form intense light and from this light the FIRE element manifested.
Through the heat of the fire, certain etheral elements dissolved and liquified, manifesting in the WATER element. The water element then solidified to form the molecules of the EARTH as well as all other solid structures in our universe.
Therefore ETHER manifested into the four elements of AIR, FIRE, WATER and EARTH.
Everything in nature, human beings, the Earth, the planets and everything that God or Brahma (depending on your culture) and we have created is made up of these basic building blocks. THE FIVE ELEMENTS.
This is the basis of Quantum Physics.
